Once a upon time, there's a farmer who lives happily in a small town. He had always aspired to become rich some day and always believed that being rich is the only thing that can make his life even better.
So he worked diligently everyday, and wish that he will be successful someday. One day, the god of fortune took pity on the farmer. The god gave the farmer a choice, the farmer can either continue to be his farmer, stay in the town he grew up in, or choose to become rich overnight and leave the town he had grown up in.
The farmer gave it some thoughts and chose to give up on the place he grew up in and moved to another place and become rich overnight.
Months have passed and the wealth of the farmer had grew as the days pass. However, the farmer misses the people in the town and became very unhappy. He wished that he felt that he had made a wrong choice and went back to the god again and hope that he will undo everything and make him the happy farmer he once was.
However, the god told the farmer that when the farmer made the decision, the god had already told the farmer that he will not be able to undo his decision. So the farmer was utterly disappointed. Then the god asked him another qns, "If you were to make the decision once more, do you think you will be better off?"
Thats for us to go think about.
Thought for the day: "if you were to live your life once more, will there be any difference?"
This is a question that i believe no one can ans, cos no one will know what will be the consequences of the other path that we didn't take. And most important of all, it is not the decision that decides how we feel towards our life, but our attitude and actions. Thus, live a life without regrets by embracing what you believe is best for you.
Stop and take a look around in your life, see if you had missed out anything. =)
